If your interested in off grid homesteading this is the place for you! Plenty of space to spread out and pursue your interests. Beautiful pasture for cows, chickens, or other critters. In the yard you will find a large garden plot with a green house. There's rhubarb, blueberry, raspberry and elderberry bushes, along with a well established asparagus patch, herb garden and other lovely perennials. In addition there are 2 apple & 2 chestnut trees! A small stream flows through the middle of the property. A shallow pond in the back corner of one of the fields has provided water for livestock as well as ice skating during the winter. House is cozy and quaint. Built (as were all the outbuildings) mostly from lumber we milled on our small sawmill. Lots of TLC and hard work have gone into this place! Outbuildings consist of a large 24x40 pole barn with a small loft. Currently used as a three car garage, but has served many different purposes. A 20x16 Shed provides a workshop/tool/ storage shed and summer kitchen; this shed is also insulated and has a wall mount propane heater. Other outbuildings include a woodshed, cow shelter, and 2 portable chicken coops. The barn and shed are set up for collecting rainwater, if desired. Electricity on this property is currently powered entirely by a solar set up, battery bank, and back up generator. Verizon has so far been the best cellular service here, along with the Verizon jet pack which takes care of our internet needs.
